Local Orders

1. ALL orders will only be held for 2 (two) days, if you have yet to contact me back or answer your phone. By day 3, the fish becomes mine and your order becomes forfeited. Any and all payments made prior to pick up / delivery on a forfeited order is NON-REFUNDABLE.

2. Unless payment was made before hand, payment MUST be paid in full at time of pick up / delivery. 

All orders for Fingerlings must be paid in full upfront. Payment may be made via PayPal or Credit/Debit card. You will recieve an invoice in your email. Once payment is recieved, your order will be processed.

Price per pound is subject to change at any time with or without notice.

Price to clean fish is subject to change at any time with or without notice.

3. Delivery: Delivery will be made to Satsuma, Crescent City, Fruitland, Huntington, Georgetown, Welaka, Lake Como, Pomona Park, and all areas in between.

For delivery to San Mateo, Palatka, East Palatka, and Pierson to Deland, there is a minimum order size of $40 required. For smaller orders, we can meet at a location within the above stated deliverable area.

For delivery of all orders to Ocala, we will meet on either side of the Fort Gates Ferry. On the Ocala side, I will arrive by boat. On the Welaka/Crescent City side, I will arrive by either boat or car to meet you.

Delivery to all other areas, you must meet me at a location in the deliverable area or place a minimum order of $100.

Pick Up: Due to the setup as a mobile market, we do not currently have a “fixed” location or store-front for customer access. All pick-ups will be at agreed upon locations within the deliverable area, based on order size. These locations are usually local Kangaroo’s or other gas stations, mostly in Fruitland or Crescent City. If you would like to pick-up in, or north of, San Mateo or south of Georgetown, minimum order requirements apply.

4. All fish is caught same day I contact you for pick up or delivery. All fish awaiting same day pick up or delivery will be on ice. If you don’t answer or get back to me, there is only a 2 day hold (under refrigeration) to ensure freshness. By the third day of failed contact, the order is forfeited and therefore the fish become mine and will be consumed by my family. If you still wish for the fish after day 3 of failed contact, you will need to wait in line for your new order to be processed.

5. All orders will be ready by or before agreed pickup/delivery date if weather and other conditions permit. If weather conditions or other conditions arise that delay the ability to provide said order by agreed pickup/delivery date, order will be filled as soon as conditions permit. You will be notified via email of any conditions that arise and new pickup/delivery date. 

6. There are absolutely NO REFUNDS.

  • Should you decide to cancel your order for any reason whatsoever, any and all pre-paid payments or deposits shall not be refunded.
  • Deposits on forfeited or cancelled orders can not and will not be counted as credit towards a new order.
  • Should an order become forfeited and you still want the fish, you must submit a new order. Any and all deposits on forfeited orders will not be refunded. You will be charged the full cost of the order.

7. I reserve the right to deny any and all orders for any reason.

8. You understand all fish are caught from local waterways. You agree to the following:

  • All fish will be kept under refrigeration until ready to prepare;
  • You will properly prepare all fish before consuming;
  • Any whole fish will be cleaned immediately following pickup/delivery and placed under refrigeration. All cleaned fish will be prepared and consumed within seven (7) days.
  • You will not hold Red, Red’s Fresh Fish, or any other person liable for consumption of under cooked, poorly prepared, or expired fish.

9. Barter. Payment may be made via trade/barter. All trades must be agreed and accepted by Red. If the worth of the item is of lesser value than the total dollar amount of your order, you must pay the difference; the difference may be paid via Cash, Credit/Debit, or PayPal. If the worth of the item is of higher value than the total amount of the order, it will be considered an even trade; no additional fish will be due.

A trade may include a service in exchange for our fish. For example: You can offer an auto-repair, lawn care, etc in exchange for fish.

  • Individuals who offer a service must be knowledgable and experienced in said service.
  • Businesses offering a service must have any applicable licenses, insurances, etc. for the industry, and provide copies of such upon request.

All services offered for trade must be agreed to by Red. Fish will be given after the service is finished.

All trades are final. Under no circumstances whatsoever will an item be returned.

If an item/service is rejected for trade, you may either suggest another item/service for trade or pay via Cash, Credit/Debit, or PayPal. All items accepted for trade must first be in Reds possession in order to recieve your order; all services must be completed in order to recieve your order. Trades for items may take place upon delivery.

Trade/Barter is only available on orders of catfish and/or gar. If an order does not include catfish or gar, the barter will not be excepted. All orders that include tilapia and catfish and/or gar, the cost of the catfish and/or gar may be bartered; the cost of the tilapia must be paid in cash or via Credit/Debit or PayPal.

Terms For Shipping

(Shipping coming soon. Pre-orders are being accepted now. Shipping is currently available for resellers only.)

1. All orders must be a minimum of 20lbs. You can order a combination of fish to equal 20lbs. For example: You can order 10lbs of Catfish or you can order 10lbs of Catfish, 5lbs of Tilapia, 5lbs of Gar. As long as the order totals at a minimum of 20lbs, it will be accepted. Any and all orders under 20lbs will not be accepted. (Any fish you will not be consuming within 7 days of arrival may be frozen. If frozen immediately, fish may hold for upto 3 to 6 months. This is not a guaranteed time limit, some fish may expire sooner than other fish)

  • Whole fish orders will not be accepted. Only Gutted, Headed & Gutted, and Fillets will be shipped.

2. All orders are packaged in coolers inside the box. In the cooler, the packages of fish will be kept cool with ice gel-packs. The gel-packs are able to keep the fish cool for upto 3 days. Most orders will arrive within 2-3 days. If your fish is thawed upon arrival, but still frozen in the middle or completely thawed but still cool in temperature, the fish is still safe. You agree to either prepare the fish upon arrival or place it under refridgeration immediately. You agree to the following:

  • All fish will be kept under refrigeration until ready to prepare;
  • You will properly prepare all fish before consuming;
  • All fish under refridgeration will be prepared and consumed within seven (7) days. All fish that is frozen will be consumed within three (3) months and no later than six (6) months. All fish to be frozen will be done so properly. (There is no guarantee on timing of frozen fish expiration)
  • You will not hold me, Red’s Fresh Fish, or any other person liable for consumption of under cooked, poorly prepared, or expired fish.

3. Red’s Fresh Fish is not liable for any delays during shipping. When the order is shipped, you will be given a tracking number via text or email to track your package. Once the package is out of our hands and with the company chosen for delivery, we are not responsible for any delays of the order. If your order does not reach you by the time it’s estimated to arrive, you are to contact the delivery company.

4. Orders may require a signature for delivery. This means someone must be present at the time of delivery. Please be sure to be home on the day of delivery to recieve your order.

5. Shipping costs vary by location. Submit an order with an accurate home address (NO P.O. BOXES) for a quote on shipping. Quotes are on 2-3 day shipping. Next day shipping is more expensive. If you prefer next day shipping, state so in the “additional comments” section of the order form. Most next day shipping is over $100.

6. All orders that are recieved, quoted, and accepted between Thursday and Sunday will not ship until Monday to guarantee the order arrives within 3 days of shipping. Please take this into consideration when submitting orders and reviewing the quoted shipping price. (Orders that come in between Thursday and Sunday will be caught and prepared Sunday to ship Monday morning)

7. Upon your acceptance of the quoted shipping cost, the total amount (order plus shipping) must be paid in full before you’re order is shipped.

8. There are absolutely NO refunds.

  • Should you decide to cancel your order for any reason whatsoever, any and all payments shall not be refunded.
  • Payments on forfeited or cancelled orders can not and will not be counted as credit towards a new order.
  • Orders that arrive late, or not at all, for any reason whatsoever will not be refunded.

9. If you are a licensed reseller and would like to purchase our fish for purposes of resale, you must email us a photo of your current/active license and proof of identity. Proof of identity Includes, but is not limited to, business registration for businesses or a state ID for individuals. Upon verification of active license and proof of identity, your order will be accepted. See below ‘Terms For Resellers‘ for additional terms and conditions.

10. These terms are in addition to all other terms and conditions. By submitting an order, you agree to all terms and conditions.

Terms For Resellers

These terms apply to all resellers, including restaurants, wholesalers, retailers, etc.

1. Order Size. There is a minimum order size of 300lbs per order for all orders to resellers outside the deliverable area. The only instance a smaller order size is acceptable is if you reach out to us to request such an order, we agree to inquired order size, and you agree to the shipping cost of the order size. Minimum order size for resellers within our deliverable area is currently negotiable.

2. Delivery. All orders will be shipped using express/overnight delivery using USPS, UPS, FedEx, or an LTL shipping company we have a contract with. You will be quoted the lowest price of the available options. Shipping cost and method must be agreed to and shipping cost must be paid in full to process your order. If you have a preferred shipping company, you may suggest said company in your order.

Orders within the deliverable area (Palatka, FL to DeLand, FL) may be delivered by us.

3. Payment. All orders must be paid in full in order to have your order processed. After agreeing to shipping method and shipping cost, you will recieve an invoice via email. This invoice will include your total amount due. The total amount due must be paid via the invoice. You may use a Credit/Debit card or PayPal account. Once payment is recieved, your order will be processed.

Resellers within the deliverable area may opt to pay upon delivery, providing we are able to make the delivery ourselves. All locations north of Satsuma and south of Georgetown must pay a 50% deposit to secure the order. Payment must be made in full prior to unloading your order. If we are unable to deliver ourselves, and ship instead, you must pay via invoice prior to your order being processed and shipped.

There are NO REFUNDS for any reason whatsoever. See Term 6.

4. Order Requirements.

  1.  All resellers must be licensed and send proof of license via email to RedsFreshFish@gmail.com. If proof of license is not provided, order will not be accepted.
  2. Only orders for gutted, headed & gutted, or fileted fish will be accepted. Whole fish will not be shipped, nor will orders for such be accepted. Exceptions may be made, at our sole discretion, for resellers within our deliverable area only.
  3. You may remove our fish from our packaging for display in your display counter, resell in our packaging, or repackage in your own labelled packaging. If you resell in our packaging, or display in a display counter labelled as “Reds Fresh Fish”, you must sell at no higher than our listed retail price.

5. Pricing. All orders within the deliverable area will pay our current retail prices at the time the order is placed for all orders of 100lbs or less. Local orders above 100lbs may inquire about bulk order pricing.

All orders outside our deliverable area may inquire about current wholesale pricing.

6. We are in no way responsible for delayed delivery, issues with the product, or any other issues that may arise. All product are guaranteed fresh when packaged and shipped. Once packages leave our possession, we have fulfilled our obligation. Any issues with delivery, package condition, or product is to be taken to the company which delivered the product.

If there was an issue with the package condition, delivery, or product, you are to inform us of such issues so we may work with you to avoid such issues with future orders. This is as far as our obligation reaches. We are in no way liable or responsible for third-party delivery services.

7. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge you have read and agree to all Terms & Conditions. These ‘Terms & Conditions’ are in addition to all other Terms & Conditions stated on this page as well as any terms discussed via email, phone, text, or any other form of communication.

Sales And Promotions

Unless otherwise stated in an advertisement:

  • Sale/Promotion pricing applies only to Whole or Filleted fish.
  • Sale/Promotion is only available on Catfish and Gar. All Sales/Promotions which include Tilapia will state such in the advertisement.
  • To obtain Sale/Promotion pricing, Orders MUST be submitted no later than the date/timeframe stated in the advertisement. If no such date or timeframe is stated on the advertisement, all orders must be submitted no later than seven (7) days before the Sale/Promotion date (For all Sales/Promotions for special occasions, the Sale/Promotion date would be the date of the occasion).

All Sales/Promotions are on a “First Come, First Served” basis. Once an amount of orders comes in that reaches or exceeds our ability to fill orders by the Sale/Promotion date, any and all additional orders will be put on a waiting list and may recieve the orders on a date later than the Sale/Promotion date. In the event your order should be put on a waiting list, the Sale/Promotion price will still be honored.

All orders that exceed 20lbs, a 50% deposit must be paid in advance. An Invoice will be sent via email; the Invoice may be paid via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal. If you prefer to pay the deposit in cash, check ‘Cash Payment’ on the Invoice you recieve. The remaining 50% will be due at pick up/delivery.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting/placing an order, you acknowledge you have read, understand, and accept the terms as outlined above. You agree to be bound by said terms. If you do not understand, accept, or otherwise agree to the terms as outlined above, do not place an order. These terms are legally binding.
